Goblin Aid: Help Kev Adams

So, this isn't shiny happy hobby news like we prefer to report, but this has to go out to gamers everywhere.

On Wednesday March 20th, Kevin "the Goblinmaster" Adams was the victim of a home invasion. Attacked by knife wielding assailants, Kev was injured but thankfully survived.
By all accounts, Kev got thugged up pretty badly, in part because he's too much of a badass not to stand up to masked punks breaking into his home. Good show, man, good show.

For those of you who don't recognize his name, you'd recognize his work. He's not called "Goblinmaster" for nothing, having all but created the signature look of modern 28mm goblinoids single handedly. Kev has worked for GW, Black Hat, Ral Partha, Hasslefree, Heartbreaker, Renegade, and those are just the ones I know of personally.

Ian "Geronimo" Brumby of Fenris Games and Jon "Dags" Atter of Frothers Charity Projects have set up Goblin Aid to show support for Kevin, keep people up to date on his condition, and organize relief efforts to help the Goblinmaster financially. Go there. Like it.

Additionally, anyone in the Nottingham area who may have useful information on the case, please come forward.

For those of you that know me away from the keyboard, you know how important "The Hobby Community" is to me. Kevin is one of our own, and someone who has enriched the lives and experiences of countless gamers, hobbyists, and collectors of wee soldier dolls for decades. Let's all show him some support.

Anything else I find out, you'll all be the first to know.
